08/30/09 Week 2 Response

I felt that the SAC this week went really well. At least in my group, we were all able to discuss the topics of the essays thoroughly and everyone was very respectful of each other's opinions. It really made me think about all the different issues we have in our society and how we might be able to solve many of them if our representatives were able to listen to other's views and take into consideration all sides of the issues. Then if they would calmly and politely discuss the problems and possible solutions without attacking each other's beliefs and values, I think progress could be made and it would make our society more effective.

hey everybody- i'm rachael. i'm a business major and i'm planning on transfering to either ucla, long beach, or fresno. i went to healdsburg high school and played both volleyball and basketball. i'm a nanny/office assistant for a family that runs their business out of their home office so i either watch their son, or help in the office.
